I want to start by stating something that might be hard to hear: burying your God-given gifts is a sin. When you hide your natural skills and passions, you prevent yourself from blessing others and, in turn, receiving the blessings you deserve. In my humble opinion, failing to use your talents suggests to God that His gifts are undervalued by you. Society often tells us to play safe, keep our hobbies aside, and be grateful for our jobs. But let me tell you, Jesus never called us to play it safe. He called us to multiply our talents and use them to their fullest extent. 

Playing it safe is not humility; rather, it's disobedience. You're not just missing out on enhancing your life, you're actively ignoring the purpose God has bestowed upon you through your unique talents.

**Breaking Through the Fear and Lies** 

Many of us feel we're not skilled or qualified enough to monetize our talents. These fears are deeply ingrained lies that keep us from realizing our full potential. If you're thinking, "I'm not good enough," or "Nobody will pay me for this," recognize that this is merely fear talking. Such a mindset keeps you trapped in a cycle of financial shame and unfulfilled dreams. 

God didn't give you these talents to be hidden or wasted. They are meant to enrich your life and the lives of those around you. Ignoring them is akin to burying God's trust, and understanding this is a pivotal step towards a more fulfilled and impactful existence.

**Taking the First Bold Step** 

So, what can you do? Start by calling out the lie. Write down those fears and hesitations that hold you back, like "I'm not good enough" or "It's too risky." Burn that paper as a physical act of letting go. 

Next, list your talents. Identify what comes naturally to you and what others thank you for. Pick just one of these talents and take a bold step today. Tell three people about it, post an announcement online, or create a demo. Making this move can set the stage for monumental change.
