Speaker A

Have you ever noticed that when you see something, your heart starts moving towards it? Picture of a peaceful home, that reminder of a debt you want gone. A word that speaks to your faith. Vision doesn't just inspire. Vision directs you.And today, we're going to give your financial life something beautiful to look forward to. Hey, friend. Ralph Estep Jr. Here.Welcome to Financially Confident Christian, where we learn to walk through life and money with wisdom, with peace, and with a heart anchored in God's truth. My mission is simple. To help you break that cycle of financial shame and build steady habits rooted in faith and.And become the kind of believer who handles money with clarity, with confidence, and spiritual purpose. Yesterday we talked about clearing the clutter. Get rid of the noise that steals your peace. And today we're going to shift from clearing space to filling that space with purpose, because you got to fill it with something. Because when your eyes have something true and hopeful to rest on, your heart will follow.Today's all about creating a vision for your financial Life. And in 2026, a listener recently wrote and asked this Ralph, I know what I want, but I don't know how to keep my goals in front of me without feeling overwhelmed. How do I stay focused? That's sort of the million dollar question, isn't it? And maybe you felt that, too.You know those hopes you have, you know those dreams you've got. You know the changes you want to make. But life gets busy. Those bills come due, the work piles up, kids need rides. And suddenly those beautiful intentions fade into the background. Not because you're weak, but because you're human. And you need reminders that speak to your heart as loudly as the world speaks to your stress.Research shows we're far more likely to stay committed to our goals when we see visual reminders every day. Things like words and pictures, symbols and, hey, even scripture. Our minds just don't think in sentences. They think in images. And the images we choose shape the direction we walk. For years, as an accountant, as a coach, and a fellow believer walking my own financial journey, watch something beautiful happen. When people create a vision board, even a simple one, their goals stop being ideas and they start becoming assignments. Those assignments have clarity. Those assignments have focus. And those assignments bring joy. I've seen it again and again.A man in our community, I'll call him Jason, told me he'd been trying for years to get a handle on his finances. But he said, ralph, nothing sticks. So he made a simple vision board, just a picture of a small cabin he wanted to buy someday. And A sticky note with the word debt free. He also added a verse from Proverbs about diligence and a photo of his family that reminded him why he was doing all this. And he hung it right above his desk. You know what he told me? He said, ralph, every time I see that board, I remember who I'm becoming. See, that's the power of vision. So let me ask you this, friend. What if your financial life had a picture to pull you forward this year? What if your goals had a home that your eyes could land on every single day?Well, let's build that together. See, a vision board isn't decoration. It's direction.A vision board is simply a collection of pictures and words and phrases and scripture that reflect what you want to become and where you believe God is leading you. Think of it as a compass. It's a reminder. It's just a gentle nudge towards faithfulness. So use pictures, use words, and use God's word.Choose visuals that speak to your spirit. Maybe for you, it's pictures of freedom or images of simplicity.Words like peace and stewardship or obedience, verses that anchor your heart when life gets loud. Because life gets loud around us, your vision board should feel like hope. You can actually see in front of you.And then once you build that board, put it where your eyes rest daily, Maybe on your bathroom mirror. Hey, like this guy did above your desk or on your phone wallpaper. Here's a great idea.Put inside your Bible whenever your eyes go off, and put it there. Because seeing your vision daily keeps your goals alive. When motivation fades. And hey, we're humans, motivation's going to be.It's going to fade at times, but let it be simple, let it be spiritual, and let it be personal. Don't add more pressure. Don't look for perfection. Your vision board doesn't need to impress anyone. It's just for you. It just needs to inspire you.Listen to the words of Habakkuk, chapter 2, verse 2. Write down the revelation and make it plain on tablets so that a herald may run with it. See, God told his prophet to write the vision. He did that to make it clear, to put it where it could be seen and lived out. Your vision board is that modern version of that spiritual practice. So write that vision, make it plain, then run with it.Lord, thank you for giving us vision and hope and purpose in our lives. Help us dream with faith. Help us see the future you're calling us toward.Guide our steps, guard our hearts, and keep your word at the center of everything we build. We ask this in Jesus name. Amen. Here's today's Make a simple vision board, whether it be digital or physical, for your 2026 financial goals. It doesn't have to be elaborate, it doesn't have to be perfect. Just one picture, just one word and one verse. Just begin there. A member of our community shared this recently. The vision prompt in the group helped me so much Ralph. Not to pressure myself, but to see what God could do if I stayed faithful. This community feels safe Ralph like people cheer me on without judging where I am. Friend, you don't have to build that vision alone.I encourage you Join us in a free and supportive community at financiallyconfidentchristian.com/join. financiallyconfidentchristian.com/join because we walk this road together. Remember this friend. If you can see it, you can move towards it. God plants vision not to frustrate you, but to guide you.So take those simple steps, keep your eyes lifted and let God shape your future. Go out there today and be a financially confident Christian. You can do this. I have confidence in you, have confidence in yourself.Stay financially savvy. God bless you and you have a great day today.
