Have you ever done the right thing financially and still felt like you lost because of it? In this episode of Financially Confident Christian, I talk about what it means to choose integrity even when honesty comes with a personal cost. I responded to a listener who reported income on their taxes despite not receiving any forms and now feels foolish for paying more than they could have. I share why I believe integrity is not about what others are doing but about the kind of person we choose to become when no one is watching.
I also reflect on the difference between fairness and faithfulness, how protecting your peace and conscience matters more than temporary savings, and why living aligned with your convictions is always worth it in the long run. I close with encouragement from Scripture including Luke 16:10 and Jesus’ reminder to give unto Caesar what belongs to Caesar, while reminding you to stay faithful in the small things because character is built there first.
