I want you to know I’ve been there too, carrying those thoughts that quietly multiply when everything gets still. In this episode of Financially Confident Christian, I talk directly to you about what it looks like to plan responsibly for your children without letting fear take control of your heart. I’ve learned that preparation is wise and grounded, while fear tries to carry outcomes that were never meant for me to hold.
In my own life, I focus on doing what I can today instead of getting lost in every possible tomorrow. That means building simple, faithful systems, getting my financial house in order, starting an emergency fund, making sure I have basic insurance, setting up a will, and building consistent savings habits. I also remind myself that the greatest legacy I leave isn’t just what I provide, it’s what I model and teach. I want my children to see wisdom in how I handle money and to learn to trust God as their true provider. At the end of the day, I choose to anchor my heart in trust rather than control, because I can’t carry every outcome but I can take faithful steps today and trust God with the rest.
