Have you ever felt like you keep starting over with your money? You make a plan, you have good intentions, and then life gets busy and somehow you drift right back to where you started. I’ve been there too. In this episode of Financially Confident Christian, I talk about what it really looks like to stay consistent with your finances when you feel tired, distracted, and stretched thin. Because the problem isn’t that you don’t care. Sometimes, you’re just overwhelmed and trying to do too much at once.
I’ve had to learn that consistency isn’t built through big plans or bursts of motivation. It’s built through simple systems that are easy to return to, even on your worst days. That means shrinking your approach, focusing on one small habit, and attaching it to something you’re already doing so it becomes part of your rhythm. It also means reducing decisions by simplifying your finances and automating what you can. I’m still working on this, but I’ve realized that progress doesn’t come from doing everything perfectly. It comes from showing up again and again, even when you feel off track. Over time, those small, steady actions become something you can actually sustain.
